The 2030 Agenda

The 2030 Agenda contains Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sustainable development is understood as comprehensive development in economic, ecological and social terms. The 2030 Agenda was adopted by the member states of the United Nations in September 2015. It is valid for all countries in the world - regardless of whether they are developing, emerging or industrialised countries. The 2030 Agenda primarily refers to the level of nation states. However, it is also relevant for the regional and local level, without which state goals cannot generally be achieved. The "heart" of the 2030 Agenda are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with their 169 sub-goals. The goals relate to topics as diverse as poverty, health, education, energy, work and international partnership. FroXx-Classics contributes to bringing vehicles back into circulation or keeping vehicles that would otherwise disappear from the market or from recycling yards. This is sustainable, avoids serious disposal problems and does not pollute the environment. After all, buying a new car is still a long way from protecting the climate. Thus, classic cars are entirely in the spirit of sustainability. A car is produced, bought and maintained instead of being exchanged for a new model after a few years. Only after more than 300,000 kilometres do you improve the CO2 balance - if the new car consumes at least one litre less than the old one, not only in the brochure but also on the road. Moreover, classic cars have little technology. Compared to modern cars, they consist of few components and are easier to repair in case of defects. With modern cars, it is often not possible to replace individual parts, but rather entire modules. This is where the negative side of technology becomes visible. Classic cars are sustainable. They generate less production and transport costs than new cars, which have a greater impact on environmental resources and the ecological balance sheet. Vintage vehicles account for a fraction of the total traffic volume and emission load. Furthermore, classic cars occupy a special position, as they are exempt from the environmental zones and are tax-privileged as a driving cultural asset.
